You can select your pattern, colours, and size.
I can assist you in finding the right pattern or even designing one just for you.

How much should I expect to pay for a quilt?

With anything custom...it depends.
Factors I take into consideration include:
- Size of quilt / wall hanging
- Pattern - existing / new design
- Complexity of the pattern
- Material costs
- Special quilting motifs
- Time frame to make
- Shipping costs
Typically the minimum prices by size are:
- Baby $250
- Crib $400
- Lap/Throw Quilt - $650
- Queen size quilt - $1000
- King size quilt $1250
Fixed price quotes and firm deadlines.
50% payment up front for all custom orders.

Ready made quilts are listed on my website under 'Quilts for Sale'. I have only to package them up and ship them to you. While shipping is usually one week, I would recommend allowing for 3 weeks for shipping, just in case.
For custom quilts, I discuss the time frame with the client at the time I take the order.
I understand how important it is to meet a deadline, especially when it is a gift, which is I why I commit to the meet the date.
(Unless there are very exceptional extenuating circumstances outside my control - like a pandemic where the post office and shipping companies shut down, postage strike,
the border is closed etc)
What are the quilts made of?
How long will it take to receive my custom quilt?
All products are handmade by the artist in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Quilt Fabrics are 100% Cotton of the highest quality to ensure long term durability and easy care.
Backing options include 100% Cotton quilt fabric, fireside by TrendTex or snuggle which makes a soft and cozy quilt for the warmer weather.
Batting options I carry include an
80/20% blend of cotton and polyester or 50/50 blend of cotton and bamboo. Quilters may bring their own batting as well.
Quilting is done on a long-arm machine to ensure high quality and long term durability. Customer may request a specific
quilting motif.
Can I wash my quilt?
The majority of my quilts are machine washable in cold water and dry on normal/low heat.
Fabrics are tested for colour fastness prior to starting assembly and pre-washed if necessary.
Happy parents report regularly that the baby quilts hold up to everything a child can throw at it including frequent washing.
I love hearing about the quilts being used to build forts, for picnics, security blankets, play mats, snuggles while reading, switching over baby to toddler bed, nap time, trips to grandmas.
Wall hangings should not be washed.
